1. Look into having your discharge lable upgraded. Although I don’t know nor need to know the details, I think you may have been unfairly treated. Usually the only type of discharge which denides benefits is a bad conduct discharge. Being gay is not reason for such a discharge nor reason to denide benefits.

2. Being gay does not remove you from your family. We all are concerned about you and still care about you. It is nice to know that you are okay. Keep in touch!

To anyone who says college education is a privilege – you must be member of the Tea Party. Try living in New York City with no college degree and see if you can even pay half the rent on your own unless you live deep inside outer boroughs. People who say college education is a privilege are mostly trust fund kids. They have tunnel vision of the economic issues that ordinary Americans go through.

I say great job to Alfatah! At least his parents are not getting food stamps, nor are they involved in greed based income of trust fund kids! America has to wake up from the stupor of pretending that college education is a privilege.
I have to ask Alfatah, though, what proposal would you have to implement such a program? What incentive would politicians have to make education a national security imperative?
